Property photography in Halifax
By Mustafa Haroon · Foldscapes, a web design studio in Halifax, West Yorkshire
The photograph is the first thing anyone sees, and it decides whether they click at all. Dark, crooked, phone-shot rooms make a good property look ordinary. Done properly, the same room looks as bright and as big as it does when you walk into it.

Wide-angle shots, straight vertical lines and natural light, so a room reads as large and welcoming rather than cramped and yellow. Straight lines matter more than people expect — a leaning doorframe makes a whole photo feel amateur even when nobody can say why.
For listings and for holiday lets
Estate agency listings, holiday lets and serviced accommodation. If I'm also building the site, the photographs are shot to fit the layout they'll sit in, which is why it's usually worth doing both together.
Edited, not just delivered
Every image is retouched — exposure balanced, colours corrected, distractions removed — and supplied in sizes ready for the web and for portals, so nothing has to be resized or compressed badly later.

Every site I build gets the same groundwork that makes it findable — not just on Google, but in the answers ChatGPT and Perplexity give when someone asks for a property photography near them. That work is described in full on AI search optimisation for small businesses. If you would rather see finished work than read about it, the case studies cover what each client needed and what changed afterwards — and about Mustafa Haroon covers who you would actually be dealing with.
What clients say

Common questions
Which areas do you cover?+
Halifax and Calderdale on the doorstep, then across West Yorkshire, Greater Manchester, Lancashire and North Yorkshire — Huddersfield, Bradford, Batley, Leeds, Wakefield, Keighley, Rochdale, Oldham, Burnley, Manchester and Harrogate all have their own page with the price for that town on it. The rule is simple: £180 for the shoot, the first 10 miles of travel free, then £1 a mile. Further than 50 miles it becomes a day rate instead, which is usually better value if you have several properties.
How quickly do I get the photos?+
Usually within a few days of the shoot, edited and sized ready to use.
Can you photograph an occupied property?+
Yes. I'll work around furniture and belongings and let you know beforehand what's worth tidying to get the best result.
Who actually does the work?+
Mustafa Haroon, and only Mustafa Haroon. Foldscapes is a one-person studio, so the person who answers the phone is the person who builds the site. There is no account manager in between, no work passed to a subcontractor, and no agency markup on top.
What does a website from Foldscapes cost?+
Websites start at £200 for a single-page build, and a typical small-business site comes to around £500. Every job is quoted as one fixed price agreed before anything starts — no hourly billing and no invoices you weren't expecting. What moves the figure is how many pages you need and whether booking, payments or photography are part of it.
