Everything that comes with your website

By Mustafa Haroon · Foldscapes, a web design studio in Halifax, West Yorkshire

This page lists everything included in a website built by Foldscapes, a freelance web design studio in Halifax, West Yorkshire, working with small businesses across the UK. Websites start from £200 and every job is quoted as one fixed price agreed before anything starts. Agencies charge four figures for a template and bill you again for every change; this is exactly what you get instead, built by hand by one person.

Common questions

What does a website from Foldscapes cost?
Websites start at £200 for a single-page build, and a typical small-business site comes to around £500. Every job is quoted as one fixed price agreed before anything starts — no hourly billing and no invoices you weren't expecting. What moves the figure is how many pages you need and whether booking, payments or photography are part of it.
How long does a website take to build?
Usually two to three weeks from the point I have your content. Larger sites take longer, and connecting a booking system can add a few days depending on the platform. You get an honest estimate at the quote stage rather than after you have committed.
Do you work with businesses outside Halifax?
Yes. I am based in Halifax and happy to meet locally — Brighouse, Elland, Sowerby Bridge, Hebden Bridge, Huddersfield and Bradford are all straightforward — but a good deal of my work is with clients elsewhere in the UK, and it makes no difference to the result.
Who actually does the work?
Mustafa Haroon, and only Mustafa Haroon. Foldscapes is a one-person studio, so the person who answers the phone is the person who builds the site. There is no account manager in between, no work passed to a subcontractor, and no agency markup on top.
