Halifax & Calderdale

Web design in Halifax, West Yorkshire

I'm Mustafa Haroon, a freelance web developer based in Halifax. I build fast, mobile-first websites for small businesses — here in Calderdale and across the UK. You deal with me from the first call to launch, and afterwards. There's no account manager and no agency markup.

Built by hand, not assembled from a template

Templates are quick, but every business using one looks the same and carries code it never needed. I build the site around what your business actually does, which is why the pages load quickly and why they don't look like the other seven sites in town.

Local, so you can actually meet me

Halifax, Brighouse, Elland, Sowerby Bridge, Hebden Bridge, Huddersfield and the rest of Calderdale and Kirklees — near enough to sit down with a coffee and go through what you need. Plenty of my work is remote and that's fine too, but being able to meet matters to some people, and it's how I prefer to start.

What every site gets

Mobile-first layouts, compressed images and light pages so nothing drags, page titles and descriptions written properly, a sitemap Google can read, enquiry forms that reach your inbox, and click-to-call and WhatsApp so people can get hold of you in one tap. Card payments through Stripe if you need them.

Looked after afterwards, if you want

I walk you through your finished site and I'm on the end of the phone after launch. If you'd rather not think about updates, backups and security, I can handle those on an ongoing basis — but there's no obligation and no lock-in.

Common questions

Do you only work with businesses in Halifax?+

No. I'm based in Halifax and happy to meet locally, but plenty of my work is with clients elsewhere in the UK and it makes no difference to the result.

What does a website cost?+

Every job is different, so I give you one fixed price up front after we've talked — no hourly billing and no surprises later.

How long does a site take?+

Usually two to three weeks once I have your content. Larger sites take longer, and I'll tell you honestly at the quote stage.

I have a website already but it's slow and dated.+

That's most of the work I do. I'll move it across carefully so your email and domain keep working, and rebuild it to load properly on a phone.

Want to talk it through?

Tell me what you need and I'll come back with a fixed price. No obligation, and no pressure if it turns out I'm not the right fit.
